the problem of reinstall windows 2000

I've installed both XP professional and windows 2000 professional in my computer. I want to reinstall my 2000 now.

But problem appears. If I format the D drive (the drive my 2000 which installed in), and reinstall 2000 pro, i cannot use the XP pro without repairing it. I don't know how to repair the XP.

So how should i do?

Thank you!

thnx Taran.

I have another question now.Should I use the 'replace damaged boot' way or use the 'repair a damaged boot sector' way? I know the boot files would be changed after reinstalling 2000 pro. But are they damaged or just modified? Which command should i use?
