Hello Friends - Happy Christmas and new year to all. I have recently downloaded the latest driver version 81.95 from the Nvidia Web site. After installing it my Microsoft Wireless Mouse stopped working at the end of the Windows start up. I think that the mouse was actually still working, but my system had stopped updating its location on the screen. After rolling back drivers the problem went away. Has anyone else had similar problems ?
My system spec is as follows: System Board : Gigabyte Socket A GA-7VRXP – Revision 2.0 VIA KT333 BIOS: American Megatrends (07.00T 05/11/2002) Processor : AMD Athlon + 2100 (1.74mhz) Memory: 768mb DDR PC2100 (184 pin DIMMS) Graphics Card: Gainward (Invidia) GForce 4 TI 4200 with AGP8X Driver: 71.89 (1/4/2005) Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition + Service Pack 2 Hard Disk: Barracuda ATA IV 80GB – UDMA100 I would appreciate any help.
Thanks for your response. I have already downloaded the latest mouse driver (Intellipoint 5.3). When I reinstalled the graphics driver (81.95) again, everything was OK for sometime, then the next day the mouse stopped moving on the screen again. I think you are probably right about the conflict, but how do I pinpoint it, and can I fix it ?
