Hi all

A friend recently uninstalled some programs he wasn't using that were just taking up space on his laptop. However, now when he starts it up he keeps getting an error message stating:

“MSVCIRT.DLL file is linked to missing export – MSVCRT.DLL:[email protected]@Z”

I can't for the life of me suss out which program it is referring to - can anyone help ?

Thanks guys

They are part of Microsoft Windows - system files

Paste MSVCIRT.DLL in to google . com, and choose the second option down. It will give you the instructions on how to replace the missing file from your win. disk.

The procedure is slightly different for each O/S.
