Problem with DVD playback since upgrading to Vista

I recently upgraded to Windows Vista. I am very pleased with how the system runs now, although DVD playback has become a problem. Since upgrading my DVDs wont play correctly they constantly jump during playback and I have no idea why. I have tried Power DVD and Windows Media Player and its the same on both. Any suggestions as to how to eradicate this problem would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks

It may just be that you are short of memory.

Vista really needs at least 1gig, although it will run on 512meg.

If you have 2gig, so much the better,

It would be particularly noticeable, if your video card uses shared memory.
