problem with CDRW discs

  wesparmalee 11:57 04 Jan 04

I'm experiencing real problems with CDRW discs. At first i thought it was just a one off faulty disc, but everytime i use one,the same thing happens. When i use a brand new disc, there's no problem. The music files will burn fine, but once i try to erase it and use it again,it just will not burn correctly.I will be told by media player or real one that the files could not be burned due to a fault with the disc itself.I have used three different disc makers, and the same thing happens. My cd burner works fine using normal CDR's and also a slow CDRW running at 4 speed.Any ideas? Thanks.

Basics first.

Are you using re-write software for CDRW?
This is not the same technique as for ordinary CDR procedure.
