In private filtering not working in IE9.
Just thought that I would give it a try again.
It just says no items to display.
Not that worried just interested to know why it is not working today.
Not had a chance to reboot yet maybe that will clear it.

Tried a reboot still not working.
Like I said not that worried about it just wondering why.

Ok may have found the problem.
In delete browsing history I had In private Filtering data ticked.
So maybe that was the problem.

Nope still nothing.
It still says no items to display.

Ok going by what I have read it could take a week or so for it to populate again but did say to drop the Content from providers down to 3 instead of 10.
Worked straight away but having it set at that number it is more than likely to block web pages that you actually want to see.
Will leave it like that for a few days and maybe have it turned on permanantly.
Ok will class as resolved so anyone that has the same problem at least you know it is only temporary and it will come back eventually.
Or just drop to number3.

If you want it to stay on after rebooting just follow those instructions.

Launch Regedit.exe and navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Safety \ PrivacIE If the above branch or its parent does not exist, you need to create the keys manually.
2. Create a new DWORD value named StartMode
3. Double-click StartMode and set 1 as its data
If you’re using Internet Explorer 9 which is in Beta as of this writing, create a DWORD value named FilteringMode (instead of StartMode) and set 1 as the data. Thanks, slinky333.

Remember if using IE9 beta you have to name it FilteringMode and the DWORD is set to 1.
