Printing wirelessly from Laptop

  Morag1 12:18 11 Nov 07

I've ploughed through the helproom and read lots of postings about wireless printing, which have been helpful but not solved my problem!

Wireless Router
Desktop PC connected by ethernet cable to router
Laptop connects wireless to Router.
Printer connected wirelessly to router. Desktop prints wirelessly to printer OK
Laptop connects OK to internet via wireless router and we have a shared drive on the desktop which the laptop can see.

Only Problem:
Won't print wirelessly to HP printer from laptop?

Steps taken so far:
Shared the printer on the desktop (have the hand underneath the printer icon)

Installed the printer software & printer via USB to laptop.

Thought: Having installed printer via USB would this confuse the laptop when trying to print wirelessly?

Help! Please?
