Printing Problems

I have an HP Deskjet 950C, which I'm using with Windows XP. It's been working fine for the last 8 or 9 months since I got the new PC, but recently stopped printing yellow. I changed the cartridge, and now I've lost blue as well. The cartridge seems fine - all three colours show up on the nozzle. In addition, when I print text every alternative line has a pink shadow (unless I set it to black and white only). Is my printer knackered?

Why not go through the installation process again.

Just in case the wrong printer drivers have been installed

Try cleaning the print heads

open the toolbox, (start/all programs/hewlett packard/ hp deskjet***c series printer/toolbox) where *** is the number of your printer.

on the Device Services tab click clean the print cartridge.

also Calibrate the Device might help.

good luck
