printing out an email

My niece has just started using an old computer running Win7. She finds that if she prints out an email it displays all the printer symbols used for punctuation. Is it possible to stop this, she asks? I'm sure there is a fix, but I can't recall it, can you help?

Try this -

1 - Open Windows Live Mail 2 - Press (ALT+F) 3 - Choose Options. 4 - Click Mail. 5 - Click Read tab, under Fonts, click the International Settings button and make sure default encoding is set to Western European Windows and not Western European Windows ISO - I think it should also be set the same under the Sent Tab

  1. Uncheck box for Use default encoding for all incoming messages
  2. Click OK.
