Printing issues

Hi
I have an Epson Stylus CX5400 all in one printer.
I use original cartridges.
When I print a word document, coloured lines print across it despite me doing all the nozzle checks etc. However, when I print a photo from another application like Kodak, it prints perfectly.
Why do word documents print badly, please?

Thanks

When the printer prints 'Black' all colours print full.
When a photo is printed, the colour out put varies
acceoting ingly so lines are not so notice able.
So you do seem to have a nozzle problem.
