Hi,

I would like to produce quality looking cds. Does anyone know how I can print the cd disc with good results. Is there special paper you can buy? Normal paper doesn't give it a nice finish. Also could there be some software that would help to do this?

Thanks

2 (main)requirements for printing directly onto CD's and DVD's

a printer capable of doing this

Discs with a printable surface.

Failing that there are several label printers which do a reasonable job and each of which generally comes supplied with their own software for the job.

Some people do not like adhesive labels citing disc balance as a factor etc

for labels try click here

as for software, Nero or Avery provides word templates. I used Avery's glossy CD labels for laserjets and Nero Cover Designer. Avery provided me with a black rubber stop with simple instructions to stick label.
