Hi, I am using XP Pro and have both a Canon i850 and an HP photosmart 7350 printer, connected through separate USB 2 ports. How can I get realistic colour match when printing from a scanned image??
At present the colours do not come out representing the true colour of the image copied, what am I doing wrong??The same result if I print a web page or similar.

You could write a book on colour profiles and matching, so I won't go into all that here! If you want to experiment with different colour profiles, search the web and you'll find a lot sites that are dedicated to this subject. The first few links in this search click here will get you started.

Thanks for that, obviously a bit more complex than I thought.

When using an Icc profile, the original ink and not compatibles must be used when printing, otherwise you will waste your time & money on a profile
