Printer via modem router

I have a Belkin N1 Vision Modem Router to which I intend connevting my new Canon Mf8330cdn Multifunction Printer. The printer is quoted as being 10BaseT/100Base-TX. Can I simply connect this to my modem router or do I need to use my Belkin Network USB Hub?

From what I read click here this is for connecting USB devices.

The printer you have bought is a LAN device, so you would connect it's LAN port to the router.

Alternatively you could connect the printer via USB to the network hub - then you would have wasted buying a networkable printer
