Printer keeps prompting for cartridge setup

I've had a Xerox Workcentre XK50 for 3 yrs and only just started getting this problem. Whenever I want to print something, I get a pop-up saying that "to complete the installation process, the printer software must setup the print cartridges to accurately track ink levels." Never had this msg before. If I select 'Yes', it then says it can't find module 'ssacsui.dll'. Does anyone know what this modeul is? So I'm stuck with this pop-up every time. I have reinstalled the print driver but to no avail. To call Xerox Support, they want 25 Euros for the privilege.

Are you sure that is the correct dll? Google can't find any mention of it.

Try putting all software for printer in again, you might have deleted a program and its nicked the dll file.

Yes - 'ssacsui' is definitely the ddl that can't be located. And the driver I used for the reinstall was downloaded afresh from the Xerox site.
