Printer freezes

  The Bard 12:20 10 Aug 05

I have Windows XP Home, SP2, OE6. When printing e-mails, the printer starts to load the paper and then freezes, trapping the paper inside. Printing from Word etc is ok.

Any ideas?

Can't answer your question but you could try copying them into Word and print from there??

Yes, but this has only happened recently, no problem previously.

What printer do you have?

Why not reinstall printer software?

The problem only occurs when trying to print e-mails. The 'load' command appears to be ok, as the paper starts to load, but the machine then turns itself off, trapping the start of the paper inside. Printing from other programmes such as Word and even an old DOS programme are ok. The printer is Brother 1250 laser, which has been installed for years.
