I have an HP printer, CP1700 which over the last couple of years has been really good, now for some unknown reason it has started to squeak when printing out. More annoying is the way in which it prints. I used to get a continuous print out in one go but now it prints in small chunks and can take some time to complete a reasonably small job even on fast print. I have downloaded the latest drivers from HP but with no effect. The pc runs XP with a Celeron 2ghz processor and 512MB of ram. Any suggestions?
