I have two frames, left and right. is it possible to have a button in the left frame which when clicked, prints the page in the right frame. If so, how can it be done?

Thanks

Well, you can use the javascript below, but the user needs to select theframe he or she wants to print....

javascript:window.print()

Enter this as a hyperlink EXACTLY how I have psoted it here....

Thanks, i'll do that.

I alos want to be able to open a .bat file from a hyperlink/button in IE. Is there a way of doing this without the download confirmation box popping up.

I don't really use .bat files, so I can't really help you with that... Sorry...

It's there to protect your site visitors, and few people will be happy about running a batch file unless they know precisely what it is.

the information management system i have built is for use on our local area network only so the download dialogue is not really needed.. For web browsing we use mozilla firefox.
