PRI Master

Occasionally, when booting up XP, the computer 'hangs' at the above and will not boot up any further.

I have to turn off at the mains, leave a few seconds, and then start again.

Anyone any ideas?

Seems to be a problem detecting the primary master disk; check in your boot options in the BIOS for anything that it might say about "fast boot" or the like - try a slow option as that will give more time for the disk to be recognised by the PC.
