Presto VideoWorks

after reading the "How To..." article on digitising analogue video tapes in the November edition, I bought a Plextor PV Av200U lead and a scart to composite converter. I installled the bundled Presto Videoworks software but each time I try to run the programe it causes my system to crash. I am using a Dell Inspiron 530 Intel Core 2 Quad CPU (2.4 ghz) with 2gb Ram and running Vista Home Premium. Does anyone know what is likely to be the cause of the problem and what can be done to remedy it?

shouldn't be, surely. The "system requirements" are said to be a pentium 4 and 512mb ram. Its also said to be Vista compliant.
