pps files problem with win7 and windows mail

This problem doesn't happen with Vista or XP.

When I receive a pps presentation through windows mail as an attachment I cannot open it directly from within windows mail.

I get the window on the taskbar and on mouse-over it shows the first slide but I cannot open it.

In order to view the presentation in it's entirety I have to save it and open it in Powerpoint.

Have a look at this registry key change click here

It states Vista but I'm sure it will apply to Windows 7.

Thanks BurrWalnut.

There must be subtle differences in Vista and Win7 registries because the key mentioned in your link does not exist in win7.
