Powerpoint: Animation of text, flick in and out

I want to have 2 pieces of text on one slide and the words to alternate. Can anyone advise how this is achieved? (Assume custom animation – but how?).

i.e. So I want to have the word “Questions” and then a few seconds later have “No!”, and then go back to “Questions”, and then “No!” again.

Advice appreciated!

Thanks

Did you crack the semi-circle in PowerPoint 2003?

Rather than using tools in powerpoint, have you considered creating an animated GIF?

woolwell - i decided to just use lines instead! (time constraints!) god point on the animated gif, my skills there arent that good either though!

Have a look at effect timings and rewind. You will have to have entrance and exit. There may be other ways using hide after animation. I have the 2007 version and it may be different.
