Powerline locks out PC internet connection

Hi: Any help appreciated I have the following connections:

Modem Router (Echolife) in study with 4 LAN sockets.

PC running XP in study connected to LAN1.

ADDON Homeplug 200Mbps NHP2010 in study connected to LAN4

ADDON Homeplug wireless 200Mpbs adaptor NHP2010BD1 see,
in lounge connected via LAN on Homeplug to lounge PC running Windows 7

When I switch this all on the internet is transmitted to lounge PC and I can connect laptop via wireless connection on Homelug in lounge. However the PC in the study is now locked out. If I switch off the Homeplugs the PC in the study connects OK?

Any help appreciated to identify the problem. It is as though the security on the Homeplug circuit is locking out the LAN to the study PC?

Thanks for the replies. Changing ports makes no difference and the link is not my problem as my Echolife is working fine. There are no other replies so far so I assume this is an unusual problem that is out side of the experience reading these forums. Thanks anyway...Mike
