Powerdesk 7

I have run Powerdesk for years using various versions starting with 1.
I am on version 7 using XP.
My son urchased a genuine copy from Avanquest with a serial number and after he installed it on a vista pc it bootedd up with a nearly blank screen with no startup etc so he had to remove it as the only other way was to use ctl.alt, del every time he booted up.
Avanquest accepted the explanation and refunded is money.
But surely this product should not be available to vista customers if this is a known problem.Answers appreciated.

Not sure if its a problem with Vista or Norton.Does he have Norton on his computer.

Nothing to do with Vista, I'm running Powerdesk7 on three Vista machines without issue. He must have something else clashes.

Not sure if that could be the problem or not.I still use XP so do not know a lot about Vista.Looks like Norton UAC is a Beta program so not at all sure if that could be the problem or not.Googled. click here=

Powerdesk is a File Zip Extract and manage Program, For those not aware.

PS I just use the Free Version of PowerDesk and on version 5 on XP
