I know you can buy the Antec PSU tester but I was thinking of building my own.can anyone point me in the right directionCheers
dont bother buy a decent multimeter its far more versatile and they are relatively cheap
Providing you know what you are doing then a multi-meter will be able to test the powersupply and no doubt other things as well.
PC PSUs really need to be tested using a switching load not a DC one. The load tester we have for doing this is VERY expensive.I think what I'm trying to say is go with a multimeter and a load resisitor. The comparitive cost is not in your favour.
