Power supply?

Hi,
I'm intending to buy a CD6750XL for myself for Christmas. However, I got a slight increase to my budget, and I'd like to add an ATI X1950 Pro to the system.
However, I'm worried about the kind of drain that it could have on the 450 watt PSU, and I've been told that the wattage on a PSU isn't a reliable figure as it can be overstated by the manufacturer.
I was told to discover some other figures and make sure it was from a reputable company, or it wouldn't cope well when under peak load.

I was wondering if anyone knows which model the PSU is, or even if you think the PSU will run the card fine.
The specs of the computer are as follows:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 CPU
256MB nVidia 8600 GT Graphics Card
2GB (2048MB) 533Mhz PC4200 DDR2 Ram
160GB SATA 7200RPM Hard Drive
20x Dual Layer DVD +/- Rewriter
Standard 450 watt PSU.

Help is very much appriecated.

from what i can see it should be no problem

I'm just wondering if its going to be a risk as the card's specs put a 450 watt PSU as minimum, which says to me that I may not get decent performance out of the machine.
Or am I just being paranoid?
