power point slide show for DVD player -Yes?

  jack 11:58 29 Oct 05

I have a PowerPoint slide show come in, which I am considering burning onto a VCD.
As such I guess a domestic DVD player will not hack it.
Any ideas how this might be achieved?
One thought came to mind was to take a screen shot of each frame and make a jpeg of them one by one in PSP
doing that will take a fortnight of bank holidays
Any better ideas chaps and chapesses?

Not free but they do a trial version click here although I don't know if the trial is fully working as I haven't tried it. Or you could look here click here.

Nero will do it if you have it.

Nero will burn the final DVD but I don't think it can convert directly from Powerpoint. If I'm wrong I would be interested to know how. click here for a tutorial using PPT2DVD and finishing off by burning with Nero.

I did in the end do the screen shot save as jpeg in PSP job -12 images all in all - 15 minute job- then made a slide show in DVD Pix play added sound track and there we are.
