Power Drops / Power Loss / System Reboots

  WIGGDOG 14:42 23 Feb 03

Please help, my system has decided at anytime just to drop power and reboot. Reformatted the hard drive, still does it, even with more up-to-date OS. Seems to happen more when the system is doing more work (multitasking and so on).
Happens more frequently when system has lower ammount of memory (RAM) is in it, (thought it could be memory at first untill I changed it with 5 different sizes, the more memory, the longer it takes to reboot) Can only open 1 IntExp window now or it just drops right away.
System: 233MMX, 256MB RAM, 20GB HD, Win98 SE.
Average time it stays on is about 2 mins, then drops and reboots then goes into scandisk!
Anyone any Ideas?
Thanks, Chris

Sounds like you have a problem with the Power Suply Unit.
