Old troubles....Old Solutions..Care of Flecc

The new Microsoft Knowledgebase now uses links in an inconvenient format which do not paste in properly, the part after kb being reproduced in black, breaking the link. Using the broken link results in "page not available", and this can even happen when the link is copied into the address bar. This is an example of the faulty format:-

I've found that the solution is to keep handy and paste in this totally reliable blank entry:-
click here***/*/**.asp
and type in the knowledgebase number in place of the asterisks. Of course the copy you'd keep and paste in could have nothing between q and .asp, so that you can just conveniently insert 3 numbers, forward stroke, 1 number, forward stroke, 2 numbers.

Nice one always had trouble with these links somtimes they work somtimes they dont.TY
