Hi, firstly i'd like to introduce myself (Alan) as i work as an internet researcher i've pretty much come acustomed to most trojans/spyware/adware etc. But a link from a geocities site has caused me at least an hour of frustration trying to get rid of it.

Pretty much every URL i put in will just try and connect me to sedoparking.com

I've ran spybot & microsoft anti-spyware but nothing is being detected.

I'm sorry if this problem has been posted before...any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Do a search for

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

If you find it, rename it to hosts.txt and restart your PC.

Have you tried running other spyware programs such as

A2

Adaware

Ewido

They can find other problems that some can't detect.

I suggest that you run HJT - tutorial click here

Then post the log on the Malware Removal forum click here
