port forwarding

hi, i have broadbandand im having a few problems with port forwarding.

i have the server (windows 2000 server) with 2 network cards in. one gonig to the internet through the modem, and another through my hub to my internal network.

the server is not used really, but the other pcs are:

i have internet sharing, and it works great apart from some certain software.

i have direct connect, and i want to connect using the mode that allows lots more of functions. sounds great but.....

it recieves connections on port 312 and if i connect using this advanced mode it wont let me connect to other users.

i assume i need to forward all the traffic on port 312 to my laptop (192.168.0.2) but im unsure on wot to do. i have gone to the properties on internet sharing and it seems that they dont w3ork can you help me please
