Somehow the following has gained entry to my computer. click here shopping site, is shown as "save now" in Add/Delete box. I am positive its responsable for many popups, but the worst is Hardporn photos, I have a ten year old ., so have tried everything to get rid.
When I press delete it shows "The system cannot find file ". Have searched the computer I can't find the file to delete . Hoping that some can assist.

Try Ad-aware click here and Spybot click here

Update each of them then run a scan.

The pop-ups may not be related - click here

Uninstall Save Now from add/remove programs then do as VoG™ suggests.Remove everything that both scanners find.

Then restart your computer and scan with both Adaware and Spybot again immediately---if any of the entries you previously dealt with are reported again then post the names of the offending items.

I have recently had to remove a malware attack from a work pc--which featured Save now.But the pop-ups kept returning and spybot repeatedly found Jeired clever ie hooker. So if you find this on your system after removing save now,or you still get the pop-ups--post back.

I don't think clicking on to the 'Whenu' web site is a risk. It would seem to be one of those annoying things you get if you use "free" software from magazine cd's or download from some less than honest sites.
Remember the free pc's thing a few months ago,
you had to agree to receiving adverts to qualify,
this looks similar.

I agree, looks like an add targeting company.Nothing dodgy about what they do--If you want trial or free programs the downside is targeted advertising.I suspect that Save Now is along the same lines--if you get the oportunity to uninstall the software then it does not really say "dodgy" to me.Not necessarily desirable though, either!

I suspect that Save Now is an addition to a number of other malware on Newuser2179s' computer and is probably not the main source of the problem.

well , as at this point in time I am "clean" ( yes, officer, honest, it wernt ME wot did it...), I am NOT " clicking here"...!!!!!
