I am looking for POPS who posted a web sight with information on AMD processors the other day as I need to know if a 2600xp is a 266 or a 333 fsb

Have managed to backtrack and find the information

I'm sure he will be along soon. Meanwhile, it might be helpful to know that the AMD2600 can be supplied as a 266 or 333 fsb.

You need to look at the part number on the cpu to find out. If the last character of the part number is a B then it is the 266 FSB chip. If it is a C,then it is the 333 version.

Quarter past ten is a bit late for me. Had my Ovaltine by that time!! (Do they still make Ovaltine?)

Anyway, two points:

1. Was it me?

2. alan 2273 emailed me and I answered then. Jazzypophas supplied the info as well.

Pleased it's sorted out
