Pop Up Problems

A pop up appears in bottom right of screen with a red border, wording inside the box is YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED, CRICTICAL SYSTEM ERROR , my pc has Norton anti virus ,Firewall etc I have done scans and it appears that there is no virus.
The bottom line saying click here for downloads on doing this it brings up a spyware program which they are selling as I am not interested can anyone tell me how to stop this pop up from showing again.

click here follow the instructions carefully. They are easy to follow. If you need help post back. The reason that you have got this, is that you have inadvertently clicked a 'yes' indicator at some time on the Net. A firewall, AV will not protect you.

no problem Lloyd.......

1) downlod the file 'smitfraud zip' from the site.

2) extract all the files to your desktop

3) restart the computer and keep tapping F8

4)this will take you to a B&W screen. Using the up/down arrows on your keyboard select 'safe mode'.

5) then follow the instructions carefully.

When finished reboot the computer and download Ewido and run a scan.
