Poor pictured from Epson C64 Photo Edition

I am now on my third C64, 2 having suffered from blocked heads and been replaced under warranty.

I have never yet managed to get a full glossy picture from this model, certain parts of the pictures come out matt and some partly gloss.

I have used epson durabrite inks with durabrite paper and am currently using Jet-Tec ink and epson full gloss paper but still no joy.

My old Epson 440 and a Canon 300 print perfectly acceptable glossy pictures but not the C64.

Operating system is Win 98.

All Epson Express shop can say is use Epson inks and paper and all will be well. It never was before!

Anybody out there experienced this with this printer and if so, managed to cure it?
