I have just noticed a few scuffs on my DELL TFT monitor. I have advised to use DISPLEX Display Polish. I wonder if anybody could tell me if this is a good idea? Kind Regards, Tim.

This product has produced mixed reactions from those who have used it, although the majority of the reports I've seen have been favourable.

You should not, under any circumstances apply it to the plastic surround of your monitor, or to a surface that has a protective coating of any kind.

Don't try this at home!
With a soft damp cloth I've applied a liberal amount of Windolene clear liquid, on the cloth, and cleaned an AOC TFT monitor and a Compaq (HP) laptop screen successfully. Twice with no ill effect.
Maybe I'll do it again and if the liquid turns out bad then it will be my duty to report it.

If I have time that is.

Before removing the scuff mark something to think about.

Polishing the scuff mark may remove it but could also leave shiny area that could be more visible than the mark.
