Pocket PC 2003 - removing obsolete icons

  Parsley 22:38 19 Nov 03

I have installed a couple of programs and uninstalled them again using the 'remove programs' option in the settings screen. I have been left with icons for each of the programs in the programs screen which are now useless as they don't work. Also one of them has been left in the start menu.

Does anyone know how to remove these icons?

Have you tried right click and Delete?

Unfortunatly there is no right click option (if only!).
When u touch the icon it comes up with a window saying to ensure the path & filename are correct. I have used explorer after the uninstall to remove traces of the ex-program folders but cannot find where/how to delete the icons

you can delete obsolete icons from the start menu folder. If you've downloaded the software to your pc.Mobiledevice/MyPocketPC/Windows
