plugin removal

I visited an MP3 site to see how much they charge for downloading music and made a stupid decision. I was prompted for a plugin to be downloaded and said yes. Now IE frequently switches to different MP3 sites when I am surfing. Is there anyway to remove plugins?

Many thanks

If it isnt in Add/Remove programs try

Control panel
Internet options
General
Temp internet files
settings
View objects

Then right click on the downloaded programs to find out which one it is then right click it and select remove.

You can remove everthing in this folder should you be unsure as it normaly contains stuff like the Windows update control program or flash 6 and these will obviously be reinstalled if needed.
