Can someone please shed any light to this problem. I keep getting a message "the plugin did not initialize properly" this is happening alot when I try to download information from a link.

I expect people will need to know what kind of file it is you are trying to download. Is it a PDF? If so you may need the Adobe Acrobat plugin for your browser. To work around the problem, right-click on the link and choose Save Target as ... to save the file to disk. If it is a PDF you can open it in Adobe Acrobat after downloading it.

I am trying to download a pdf file but I have already got acrobar reader 5.
