PLUG AND SOCKET

USB is the same plug and socket no matter what board you buy,
I wish Board and case manufacturers would get together and do the same
For the power plugs and sockets
I have installed a Foxcon board in place of an Asus Board,
The Foxcon plug is a multi plug, as was the Asus,
But they are not compatable, the wire layout colours as below.
Case plug
G W Blue W E G R
R W E E E E E E (E empty)

Foxcon pins
POW LED POW LED POW SW POW SW E
HD LED HD LED RESET RESET E
No matter how I move the case plug up and down the pins
Or try it reversed it will not start the computer.
I can start the computer by touching POW SW POW SW
With a screwdriver,
Any ideas as to how to marry up the plug and socket will be appreciated

The wires should come out of the case socket (can be released with a needle).

trace the correct wires to the power led and switch and then put individually onto the motherboard pins.
