Plug and Play

I have used a Pocket Drive removable storage device successfully in my two computers and my son's computer, running XP. Plug in and there is the drive.
However on my neighbours DELL PC it is not found. The USB skts work with a camera so deemed OK. How can I get the PC to find the removeable drive?

If your nieghbour is using W98 you will need to install the drivers.

Hi i have a DELL dimension 4400, with two USB ports on the front and two at the rear running XP.

They are 'glitchy' sometimes they work and sometimes they don't!!

You can plug a device in the front and it will not pick it up, stick it in the back and bingo.

Sometimes on a reboot it will pick it up, it will always pick up on the rear ports just the front ones are dodgy.

Could be a DELL thing!!!!
