please recommend me a gfx card

i'm currently running on board graphics since my old gfx card went pop!
could someone please help by recommending a gfx card for around £50ish mainly for watching films & playing basic, online games. my sytem is as follows :-
Gigabyte 965GM-S2
CPU :- [email protected] Ghz, model 15. 1867 Mhz
2046 RAM

sorry but i'm a total novice with pc's so don't know if you need any more info?

I think it's very likely you need an AGP interface card, not a PCIe one. Whatever type your old one was, the same interface will be needed.

Probably the most reasonably priced AGP card (there aren't many any more) is a GeForce 6200, such as

You can get away with much less. A HD 4350 for ~23 click here will do just fine.
