Got an ageing Acer T135.
AMD Sempron 3100+
1GB RAM

I recently removed the graphics card because it was fault, so am back to onboard.

When starting up it will die and automatically attempt to reboot. This happens many times before stabilising for a usable period. It dies at a random point, and will even be usable for hours before dieing again. Today it took 5 hours to boot up and stabilise.

Could it be the power supply?

that would be one of the first things to try but also check inside the case that it is not full of fluff and hair etc. Check that all fans are rotating.

probably have to update the chipset driver for it.
