Playstation on PC

Hello. I have a vintage Playstation 1, and I'm trying to find out if it's possible to use it through my PC. I don't mean an emulator (tried unsuccessfully), but some way of converting the output from the PS via some usb device to view on the PC monitor. I have a scart plug plus left/right/video phono type connections on the cable, but I also have the standard coax cable. My monitor has no speakers and only a single input from my graphics card (no HDMI). Any advice gratefuly received. Thanks.

What you need is the ability to capture a video source. I am not saying that this click here is necessarily what you want, simply that it in this area you should be looking.

Many thanks for your reply. I've decided to order something similar, and hope it works. Otherwise I'll just stick to using the TV.
