on trying to play a game in winxp that played in win98se the following error message came up after working through compatability programme.
"the procedure entry PointWahEnableNonIFSHandleSupport could not be located in the dynamic link library WS2HELP.dll"

Have tried to locate a remedy at MS website but no joy. can anyone help out and come up with a solution

it may be an idea to visit the website that supports the game,

you may find an FAQ, or find some info on how to run in each OS,

tell us the game, someone here may be using it, and can advise.

I'm not aware of any games that wont run on XP.
As crx1600 says, the name of the game would help. Try running through this check list click here

Try this.

Right click the icon for the game.

Select Properties.

On the Compatibility Tab, Check the Run This Program In Compatibility box, and select Windows 98.

sorry fellas forgot to put name of game down. have tried all your tips and still no joy. error message mentioned earlier still comes up.
