A Player Flag ?????

Hi guys.
Does anyone know what A Player is?
It's nothing I've deliberatley installed. It's just put up a flag on my freshly started XP Pro SP2 machine. A small box with APlayer in the top border, and a red X close button at the right end. In the beige body of the box is a small pale blue speech bubble with a dark blue question mark in it. Then some text reading "System files are Updated. System will now Reboot." Below that are 'Yes' and 'No' buttons. There is also a taskbar button with a small white square that has a lower case, italic 'a' and again the text 'APlayer'.
I haven't clicked either of the buttons or run AdAware or SpyBot S&D yet. My system uses ZA free and AVG free.
Cheers, Garry.

Thanks Indigo 1. It seems to be a media layer for an audio CD that was still in the drive. Garry.
