If you read my earlier threads you will know what I am talking about. My primary IDE is running in PIO mode. Can somebody tell me please Shouldn't this be DMA and if so how do I change it.

Tells you all you need to know.

There is a link to a .vbs script on the page click here

Rt click the page and select "save page as "(Firefox) or click on File then "Save as.." in IE

Save the file to your Desktop(it saves as pioreset.vbs) and then rt click it and choose "open with a command prompt".A command box will open and a box asking for confirmation to run...click ok.

The program will run and reset your DMA mode for all devices.Restart the pc to complete the operation.

Using the script is a lot easier than tackling the job manually.
