Pinnacle Instant CD+DVD

I am using Pinnacle Instant CD / DVD Version 8SE that came bundled with my Evesham PC and it is not proving that user friendly.

I have tried to make a DVD using TDK RW+ discs. I have copied DV files from my camcorder onto Pinnacle and edited them into the order I want but when I use the make a disc option it only gets as far as rendering the file: this appears to duplicate the file on to my hard drive again but then does not copy it to my DVD Rewriter.

I know the Re-writer is working OK as I’ve copied other files to it so is this a problem with the software or am I doing / not doing something I should / shouldn’t? I have a sneaking suspicion that it is the software as trying to create audio CDs with the same package often results in it freezing my whole system.

Any thoughts gratefully received.

You aren't alone. Look at the forums accessed from here click here#
At least you didn't have to pay 45 quid as I did to find out how bad it is.
Don't waste your time with the support by email option. It completely ignored all the details I had to enter and suggested a fix for a program that I wasn't complaining about.
