Picture recovery programs - beware!

I recently set a program to recover pictures from the hard drive, rather than a camera card reader. It found thousands, many of which were pictures from web pages I had visited since day one. One even caught the attention of AVG!

As you cannot delete these, (as they are already deleted), is there a way of stopping them being 'stored' in the future?

Well they are deleatable, just use a history cleaner such as CCleaner and set the option to delete them 7 times, should take roughly 2 minutes but this is a secure method of deletion. I'm guessing you're using Internet Explorer.

Thanks, but it seems such a faff to have to do that all the time.
