The Kit: -
Logitech Webcam type "QuickCam® Communicate STX"

Computer spec is : - Intel Pentium D950 Dual processor 3.4 GHz 800mhz x 2MB cache 3.00GB of DDR"-533 PC4200 RAM OS is XP Home edition with SP3.
256MB Radeon X1300 PCI Express +DVI = TV-OUT Hard disk is 232 GB with 141 of free space.

The Problem: -

Using the web cam either stand alone or with Skype the voice and lip movement are out of sync and when talking with friends over Skype I get the same problem their transmission comes to me in 'jerks' and is totally out of sync with their voice. This has started to happen inthe last couple of months.

It appears that my friends get a perfect picture and voice with little or no sync problems.

So what do I need to do to improve matters?

Are you both using the latest Skype Update?

Or, check the FAQ's on the Skype website's Forum.

Well I know I am because I downloaded it just a couple of weeks ago.

As far as the family/friends - they are in Oz but given that they have both just spent over $4000 each on new MAC's and they have both just started with Skype I can assume they too have the latest version.

I think to be honest it is my PC - no idea why I think that other than my daughter has no issue using her Laptop to Skype the family.

Perhaps you need to update your graphics and/or sound card, drivers.
