Pics in Microsoft Word

I have been sent some pics on Microsoft word and these took ages to download can i make them smaller in kb not size and can i put them in to a photo package like photo shop?.

Right click on the image

choose copy

move to your image processing program

choose paste

It should be there and you can save as you wish.

Hi Dave. You can resample pictures to a different size/resolution and save them at higher compression in most graphics handling packages. Irfanview can do this click here, and I'm sure Photoshop can as well. When you put the picture into Word, you don't need a very high resolution, 300dpi is probably the highest you need, and for most purposes 150 dpi is suffficient so look for these settings when you resample.
